Mini Exhibition SBPI Gopeng

Sabtu, Jam 9.00 pagi, Presiden Angkatan Pelukis Darul Ridzuan telah berpeluang mengunjungi sebuah sekolah berasrama penuh atas jemputan Panitia Seni sempena Minggu Kemanusiaan di SBPI Gopeng. Awalnya beberapa rakan berjanji untuk turut serta tetapi di saat akhir hanya seorang yang dapat melunaskannya. Peluang bertemu anak-anak yang bijak bestari memang menarik. Dalam masa kurang tiga jam membuat pameran mini, demonstrasi melukis potret dan sedikit interaksi bersama guru dan pelajar, dapat membuat sedikit pencerahan dalam bidang visual ini.

Turut meninjau sesi pameran ialah Tuan Pengetua SBPI Gopeng yang ternyata mesra dan prihatin tentang seni. Harap selepas ini ada lagio program yang dapat dijayakan bersama di peringkat sekolah.

1001 Malaysian Artists

Sebuah Pameran akan dianjurkan oleh ArtMalaysia dengan kerjasama BSLN, Yayasan Tuanku Syed Putra Perlis dan Gabungan Persatuan Pelukis Malaysia. Pameran ini akan diadakan pada 12 Nov hingga 12 Dis 2009 di Balai Seni Lukis Negara.

Syarat-syarat penyertaan adalah seperti berikut :-

1. Setiap pelukis diwajibkan menghantar 2 buah karya terkini yang tidak melebihi usia 2 tahun;

2. Setiap karya mestilah lengkap beserta biodata pelukis dan keterangan karya;

3. Setiap pelukis mesti menyediakan profil lengkap termasuk rekod penyertaan pameran bagi memastikan kelayakan;

4. Setiap karya hendaklah sampai kepada ArtMalaysia di alamat : Galeri Dunia Seni Lukis, No. 19A, Jalan Pudu Ulu, off Jalan Cheras, 56100 Kuala Lumpur, pada atau sebelum 12 September 2009;

5. Wang Pendaftaran sebanyak RM50 (Ringgit Malaysia Lima Puluh Sahaja).

Perginya seorang lagenda pelukis tanah air menghadap illahi meninggalkan kesan yang cukup membekas.. Beliau adalah Allahyarham Datuk Ibrahim Hussein, 71.. Allahyarham menghembuskan nafas yang terakhir di Hospital Pantai Kuala Lumpur ketika kekasih setia masa, jam meniti aksara 4.30 pagi tadi.. Takziah kepada keluarga Allahyarham, semoga Allahyarham ditempatkan bersama para solehin.. AL-Fatihah..
